Does any one have a good gin botanical recipe for full reflux turbo dextrose 25 L wash?

Thanks in advance...

Surely, someone must have a favorite botanicals recipe they use when making gin...does anyone use this forum?

Hello Calhitower. I've just started posting again, Guess I felt guilty. I'm not a big gin fan but I just had a gin basket added to my PSIIHC and so far I love it. I'm sure the recipe section of this forum has some good ones. All I've done so far is put lemon zest into the basket with the first run of a Wineos wash. It came out fine but I think I am going to make a good neutral and then run it through with the basket full of the botanicals. The one gin I do like is Sloanes gin. Not as much of the juniper taste as the typical London dry gin we all know about. Good luck

Sorry for the late response...I guess I gave up on anyone responding...

Thanks for your input. In the meantime I went on Tony's blog and got started on creating a recipe. I think I've got it perfected, to my taste anyway.

Have fun, and thanks again.

Cal,

I'm running the "Essential Extractor Gin Series" rig. For a five-gallon wash, in my basket I put a handful of crushed juniper berries, the zest of one lemon and two small limes, and a five-inch sprig of fresh rosemary. Good results... similar to New Amsterdam gin. I'm thinking of adding some fresh lavender in my next run.
