I recently acquired some older bottled syrups and extracts, and was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of this particular rum extract.
It is from Dijon France, Rouviere fils.
The bottle reads 'For confection only', on the left side, 'Not for sale as a beverage', on the right side, and '60% volume' on top right.
I have included a photo.

Welp, I broke down and tested and tasted the extract. As I suspected the alcoholmeter sat at 60%, so I have bottles of 60% extract. The taste wasnt too bad, I had better, but it is old. Being a confection and not for sale as a beverage, would there be any reason not to drink this or should I run it through my reflux.
