Wineo, It will help with some conversion, but is not a replacement for mashing with amylase or malt. If I remember right temps above 40 C will denature it and a would kill the yeast.

I use that yeast with both cooked and uncooked grain worts.

for converting rice{rice wine} and got good
results, but havent tryed it on corn.

Wineo, Use it on your corn, I've never used the Beano, but can't hurt. Does the same job as the AG, so the 2 in combination could improve alchohol yield a significant amount. However, the yeast is only desighned for a moderate OG, so have to take that into perspective as well. Lower OG better flavor and final product from grains. Balancing act here.

Convert with the amylase, Consider doing a sour mash from here on!

Wineo, Your skills and eq. are so advanced to mine, I am ambarrased to answer. but will reply for friendship.

For a pure corn mash, you would need a corn malt or amylase enzme as you would obviously know. As a starter I use the UJSM corn sout mash whikey to start with. if more adequantly advanced, go for the full grain mash. more work, better results.
Have fun primary, have fun secondary, have fun first taste.
