I just joined as you can see. I can't find one thread with the search box related to stone carbon, carbon, how to prepare it or filtering. I must be doing something wrong?

hmmmm, I thought I could help but I'm not sure what - STONE CARBON- is. I know what wood carbon is and how it works but that's not what you asked. I've even heard of coconut carbon but not sure about the other or where to point you, sorry. I can say with any carbon you boil it to sterilize it, air dry it and add it to your filtering device. We have a booklet on filtering with activated carbon on our website at http://www.brewhaus.com/...uff/activated_book1.pdf. That should help with how to best prepare the carbon, and the steps for filtering. Heeler- Stone Carbon is just short for activated carbon sourced from stone coal carbon. It is the same as wood carbon and coconut carbon, just from a different source material.
