Why does my copper still smell like puke after a run . And how do i get rid of it ?

What was your wash or mash?? Lot's of times a sour mash is just that sour and to me it smell's like puke. Copper does have a unusual aroma to it anyway but it may just be the after smell of a run too. Clean er up good and see if it help's.

It was a corn /super mash . Iv scrubbed it out with baking soda and water . And boiled some strait water through it . But after it dries it still smells sour inside the pot. Should I be concerned or just go with it.i hate cleaning it out with viniger because it seems no matter what It holds the viniger smell for a couple runs . Any help would sure be appreciated

Ya know, I went out and gave mine a good sniff too just to see and it too smells alittle off. Make another run and see if it comes out with that smell you dislike attached to the finished product, I bet it won't. Make something different so you can compare not the same thing with all the same ingredients ya know??? I bet it's just the way it is and you shouldn't worry.
