I have a regular run of the mill pot still. It's 35 gallons. I have a thumper and always throw away the first 3/4 quart. My question is.... I want to run my whiskey twice. I will put the whiskey I made from my first run back into a clean still and add 1/3 more water and run it again. This will up the proof and take away most of the corn smell. Will I need to throw away the heads from the second run??? I wouldn't think I would.

on the stripping run just take a fores cut then when you do your spirit run take a heads cut
