Just made my first batch 15 lbs sugar 15 lbs corn meal 1 pack turbo yeast been setting in room temp 70* for 7 day still making bubbles smell like beer 6% how wrong have i done

The answer you are looking for is dependent on what you are trying to make. If you are pot stilling and trying to get the corn flavor, I would personally stay away from using turbo yeast. Use ec 1118 or daddy yeast for better results. Look up Uncle Jessie's sour mash recipe...UJSM. If your goal is neutral, you wouldn't need the corn meal. With what you made will produce alcohol but may not be the best, but we all gotta start somewhere.I know this is somewhat a generic answer but with more specific questions I can give more specific answers......Be safe and Happy Stillin!!!
