Hi and thank you for the join. Hope to get great tips and always open for suggestions. First question would be I’m building a 3” reflux column and currently made a 25” base part, then a ten inch dephleg, then the head is 8”ish. All I could afford for pipe at the moment. Question is how hard is going to be to get to 90% abv or better? What would I need to do to get there if that isn’t enough column. I’ve seen article after article saying different things. I’m at a total of 42”-43”?? eventually I’d like to by a 3” glass bubble plate extension. But for now I’ll be packing this column and trying to maintain temps as close to 174 in the head columnun until it produces. Thanks again

It wont be that hard to achieve that goal. But the real question is why would you want to get that high?? That likker will have virtually no flavor at all just high octane. Now if that's really what your after then run you still pretty slow and it will concentrate the alcohol and leave behind more water. That's all there is to it.
