I checked the alc % it was about 175 the wash was a bit cloudy Am I not fermenting long enough? the gravity is at 0... any ideas Thanks

My first batch I did with turbo48 came out almost milky in color and I think it is because the wash was either not completely finished or just needs to settle out. Anyway, just run it thru carbon and it will clear up, tastes great and lasts a long time!!!!!!!!!cheers, jimbull

to make pure sugar syrup simply boil water in a small pan then add 4-6cups of sugar in a small plastic container like a deep storage container then add enough boiling water to the sugar just to submerse the sugar in water then stir till completly desolved this method is the oldtime quick syrup method it is usefull in aiding strong fermentation and adding sweetness to a batch that is almost finished when adding to strong fermentation add slowly and watch for excessive foam as it can make a real mess thankyou for your entrust submitted by brewman34 at ens961997 yahoo.com

TRY A SECOND FERMENTATION STAGE AND MAYBE A CLEARING AGENT PRE DISTILLATION
