Guys - I would never use any type of plastics in the this process once you get to higher ABVs. I know that cheap liquor does come in in plastic that is 'supposedly' alcohol resistant, but remember - those are FDA approved and do you really trust the government to be looking out for you? You, of course, may do what you wish, but just remember - alcohol is one hell of a solvent.

I can't take the credit for the great welding job. I have a very close friend that welds with surgical precision. Great guy! But...Thanks! I'll let him know that you approve!
I'm slowly moving away from plastics and have started looking for "the deal" on some stainless funnels.
