How many pounds of corn would you have to make to get 100 gallons of mash? Any information would be helpful, thanks in advance!

wow, you have a vessle that size? Just the fermenter or is it you still size? I don't understand why you don't know if you have a vessle of that size. I only do sugar with the turbo yeast in a 5 gallon bucket. It makes about 20% alcholhol. I run it on my kichen range pull out some because of the range hood thing. Why not just use sugar? It is easy to clean up and run threw a 6 foot by 1.5 inches of activative carbon.

No, its not the fermenter, it's the still that I am talking about. The still is 1360 gallons and I am using all the mixed vegetable matter I can get ahold of ,all I want,, I would like to make an estimate as to how much I would need to make 100 gallons of mash. I have approxx. 1700 gallon fermenting tanks. At this time, I am just gathering as much information as I can for this project. BTW the alcohol is not for drinking, but for fuel.

Corn equals about 60% sugar per pound when broken down useing 3 in 1 enzime so 2 lbs. corn is equal to 1.2 pounds of sugar, figure it as sugar and you will know how much corn to use

I use 25 pounds of corn to 30 pounds of sugar in 10 gallons of water. This will yeild about 2 1/2 gallons of 100 proof. Hopes this helps.
