"I just ran a stripping run of a corn wash using my proII as a pot distiller and from looking at the outcome, I can tell I used too much nutrients when fermenting. I can barely smell any ammonia and the haze is very little. Will this clear up on the second run using the pot distiller or do I have to reflux it or bite the bullet and throw it out? Also, I have a second batch of the same corn wash (20 Liters) I'm going to distill next weekend and I used the same amount of nutrients, is there a way I can avoid the outcome of what happened before? Thanks! Tikisteve"

A few things that come to mind, did you rack or let settle out untill clear? I have not seen where there is ever a need to through out a batch. doing a reflux distilation after using salt baking soda then a decant should work. I am just a rookie, so get conformation.

Just run it again,it will be fine. You really dont need to add neutrents to any grain mashes. The grains have enough already.Next time skip adding the extra stuff and it will do better,
