"I was wondering if you could drink the stripper run of course I tossed the first 1/2 cup I hope thats enough.... It held at 80c then slowly climbed to 88 and stayed there. at first I was pulling 75 with alcohaul meter then it went down to 60. it was midnight so I shut it down. the is with the Essential Extracter
set up in pot mode."

"I soaked a Quart in stone carbon from the brewhaus kit ( I used the kit to filter my practice run just to see how the stuff works and the darn thing got very warm as the product went through I thew it out anyway just to be safe also I used bakers yeast and sugar for the wash) so this time I just put two coffee filter on the bottom of the funnel that comes with the kit and puored the product that had been soaking through it when finished it smelled like vodka but went down like koolaid, 80 proof koolaid that is:)
any how I have about a gallon left that I finished stripping from the run I shut down the other night I think I going to reflux with the next strip I run."

your carbon will heat up that shows that it is working. you should download gert strands book on carbon. go to brewhaus home page and look at the bottom left side. i hope this helps. cool hobby huh. and don't forget to do your cuts.
