If you are making your column from copper, then you will want to purchase the NPT Coupler, as tri-clamp fittings (which will attach directly to your keg) are not available in copper. The coupler allows you to put a common fitting (2" female NPT) on the bottom of your column, and essentially convert it to a tri-clamp fitting.

"Thank's for the info. Are there any column's available for a keg to clamp right on it. Also are there any type that require cutting a hole in it to make it easer to clean. I would like to go with a stainless column packed with copper.
Thank's."

Yes, our Pro Series II column will connect directly to a standard beer keg, and is entirely stainless steel.

It is best to only distill clear liquid to make cleaning of your kettle much simpler.

I'm using either copper or cpvc (comment?) and seek the fittings that will allow me to avoid mutilating my beer keg.

Where do I go for this and advice? (to a novice)

I'd like to build the column (for a reflux with valves), but may need to go to a manufactured column.

Is this the correct way to contact the administrator?

Thanks, tennbob81"

Use only copper. Check out the brewhaus store for the clamps needed to adapt to your keg.

Just read the forum here and also read the homedistiller website.

If you know how solder copper pipe, building your own is easy. If not, just buy from Brewhaus!

Doubt it. Send him a PM. Just posting on the public forum isn't reliable if you need to speak directly to the admin."
