"I had a package of the 8Kg Turbo with a best before date on the back of 18/10/07. I have had it refrigerated at about 38 deg F since I bought it last year.

Do you think it will still work? I dumped it into a 25L wash this morning and so far (5 hours later) no bubbles in my airlock...

John"

It could possibly still be good. wouldn't put too much hope in it though. Sometimes it will take a day or two before a good fermenting will start up. Lots of variables . temp, amount of sugar, condition of yeast. Give it 24- 36 hours and if no bubbles you may want to add some newer yeast to it.
