I have read a few books on yeast, And if i remember correctly Rojette, like to keep the yeast stirring doring the 24 hour period YAA YAA ALL THAT YACKING JUST TO SHOW YALL THIS GADJET I HAVE MAGNET DRIVEN STIRRER PLATES BUT I WANTED TO GET THE STIRRER OFF THE BOTTOM OF THE BOTTLE AND ALSO TO AVOID THE HEAT GIVEN OFF BY STIRRER PLATE MOTOR,"

meh - screw it. Yeast is cheap just pitch until it works. I usually pitch twice, once at the start & more when I juice the load with extra sugar.
