"You'll need turbo yeast with AG to ferment grains.
I don't agree that it tastes bad. I get only compliments on my final products."

In my opinion you dont ---- need --- Turbo to do all grain mashes. I do AG mashes in beer all the time and dont use Turbo Yeast. With that said, I have used them but chose to use distillers yeast at this time. Thats just me.

I only meant that if you're going to use turbo for grain, you need the turbo with AG. I say that because the package says so.
Obviously you don't have to use turbo yeast for grain mashes."

I've tried wine yeast, brewers yeast, and turbo yeast, and I couldn't taste the difference. Turbo is just faster, and faster is good for me.BigGrin"

""Taste"" is relevant........... If you like it and are happy with the results use it. I have used Turbo Yeast in the past and it produced off taste. in the distillate."
