"md,
Here are some things I use regularly:
- Pyrex measuring cups
- Extra buckets
- Unscented dish soap
- Baking soda
- Bar mops/dish towels (that are mine, not the wife's)
- StarSan sanitizer (I really like this stuff)
- Heavy working gloves (suitable for handling very hot objects)
- A case or two of mason jars (I use 32 oz, but would rather have smaller ones)
- A case (or two) of one gallon glass jugs (for feints, low wines, etc.)
Depending on what piques your interests, you might want to keep some of the following in your distilling cabinet. They're all very inexpensive, yet sometimes invaluable:
- Sparkolloid (an oz or two)
- Iodine
- DAP or ""Yeast Nutrient""
- Carton of epsom salt
- Citric acid (a few oz)
- Calcium Chloride (a few oz)
- Calcium Sulphate (gypsum ... a few oz)
- Tomato paste (box of 6 oz cans) ... Mother Nature's ultimate yeast nutrient

Edit: I forgot one really handy thing: a box of toe tags. I prefer these much better than things that stick."
