Does anyone know that if there is any problem in distilling store purchased wine that contain added sulfites and distilling them?

Nope! I've done it and it made sum durn good brandy too! I just find this to be way too expensive for me, so I make my own wine to work with. Just remember to make tight cuts and toss th first 50ml or so ,depending on how big yer 'still' is, 10-20ml is probably more than enough with a 1-gallon still ,,which many of us started out with,, to get rid of meth, whith is ususlly higher in grape products. It should be fine the sulfites will be driven off by the heat making a good wine base to be distilled. I have given a place on another topic of where to purchase wine juice that makes excellent wines. That place is Walkers fruit and press house. Check out there prices, they are great.
