can you seal them up as per the normal canning procedures ?

"Hmmm, do you mean seal them empty for storage or fill them with likker and then seal them for storage???

If you mean filled I dont think the canning procedure is needed, cause it's high proof alcohol right??

Of course it wont hurt either way I bet."

thats what i thought might be a good idea with fresh apple pie because of the juice needing refrigerated after opening
this way it will just be fine / right

Well if you put enough ethanol in the juice it will not spoil.

i use around 75 80 % 20 % juice
i had some spoil on me one time in a gallon plastic motts container that was about 50 /50

Ahhhh now I see where ur going.....I bet if its not refridgerated its gonna spoil no matter what kinda jug you keep it in. Unless of course its mostly likker and very little juice, but I cant drink it if its that strong.

yea i dont have the room to refrigerate them and i dont drink it that fast
i like the 50/50 of coarse the ladies want 80 % juice lol even 90 % juice most people i know do a 60 /40

I seal it up when the apple pie is still warm when it cools it seals up nicely
