"Hi folks,
My names Jeff from way up North and im new to moonshining..Im about to purchase a 10 gallon copper still from a guy and i have questions..what kinda burner should i use for operation? Anyone have Moonshine recipes appropraite enough for a 10 gallon still? And im pretty sure i can get a fermenting bucket and airlock from a wine store we have around here..Any other help would be greatly appreciated as well..Oh is there magazines or instructional videos devoted to Moonshining? Much Appreciation!

Turkey fryer burner for outdoor use, or a hotplate for indoor use. Your call.

"Hi Blacktooth, If you use a hot plate you will need at least a 1100 watt burner. Some people use a cast iron skillet or griddle as a diffuser plate. I use my stove that has a glass top for a 5 gallon pot. I hope this helps.
