"Hi folks,

My names Jeff from way up North and im new to moonshining..Im about to purchase a 10 gallon copper still from a guy and i have questions..what kinda burner should i use for operation? Anyone have Moonshine recipes appropraite enough for a 10 gallon still? And im pretty sure i can get a fermenting bucket and airlock from a wine store we have around here..Any other help would be greatly appreciated as well..Oh is there magazines or instructional videos devoted to Moonshining? Much Appreciation!

"Hi Blacktooth,
If you use a hot plate you will need at least a 1100 watt burner. Some people use a cast iron skillet or griddle as a diffuser plate. I use my stove that has a glass top for a 5 gallon pot. I hope this helps.
