Hi everyone, I got my new still just came in: shorturl Is this considered a "Liquid Management" still or "Vapor Management" still? Is it important to insulate the tower? Thanks in advance! Steve

On a pot still column insulation is not that important, but boiler insulation is. On a reflux run you will see a difference, especially with heat control, on windy or cold days. I have run both ways and find the full insulation decreases my boil times and increases my fine temp control. I believe this type of still is correctly identified as a cooling management style.

Yes, go to the insulation section, it's usually there - Reflectix is a brand name that I see at Home Depot
