My pump is basically on the floor and the cooker is on a table. The old BH pump was OK for the potstill operation but didn't have enough lift for the reflux operation. The pump they now sell has enough lift for that."

'new' pump from brewhaus works quite well no issues usin it on my hc unit, altho the 'old' pump is quite feeble and needs to be put up on something high to get it working.

For pumping chill water I got a sump pump from Harbor Freight for $35 on sale. I just put it in an ice chest and circulate. This is for my beer making but will probably also be used for my new hobby too. For pumping my boiling wort I use a March pump designed for those temps, $130. My Brewhaus complete system has not arrived yet.
