This may be a stupid question but I have to ask, if the wash is exposed to air how long before it starts turning to vinegar? I want to run my latest wash thru a filter because I've let it settle out now for a week yet it still is very cloudy even though I used sparcolloid . It's still in my ferment bucket tightly sealed and outside with night time temps of 40F to 55F during the day. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Breezy 46

It will not turn into vinegar unless it is exposed to Mother of Vinegar which is a bacteria that must be added by you or a bug like a fruit fly so if you have it covered with a cloth nd they cant get in your safe and with the temps you are talking about i dont think there really is any worry about that either.Just keep it covered with someting that will not let bugs in.
