I'm thinking of asking rick about adding a food or something similar forum But before i do it would be nice to know if others are also interested in this type of forum

I do a great deal of other home made things.

I have a Sweeedish bread mixer--a#22 meat grinder--a 25 pound meat mixer and an 11 inch globe slicer.

My nieghbor gave me a juicer and another neighbor gave me an italian electric pasta maker

simple cheeses.(( queso blanco--queso fresco--ricotta--mozzarella))

all kinds of sausages(( italian--breakfast---brats--pepperoni))) chorizzo next

And i just gave away my propane smoker and ordered an electric one. (((smoked fish-- briskets--pastrami---ribs---pulled pork and the list goes on))

WOULD ANY ONE ELSE FIND THIS TYPE OF FORUM USEFULL??

Keeping it going...
I have a meat grinder and make sausage (mostly Italian); killer meatloaf base and occasionally wild pig; designated cook on weekends and when the kids come home from grad school; designated culinary teacher for the girl's boyfriends lol; smoke meat and fish.

Not to say the wife isn't any good in the kitchen, she is but I'm more adventurous. However she does bake and make various home made pastas for me to cook. I just can't get into messing with dough

Every board i have ever been on had an off-topic forum of some kind. I thought on this forum that was the "just for fun" forum. I think having a food specific forum on a distilling board would be kind of odd though i do love to cook and have been doing it daily since my mom went back to work when i was twelve and i had to start making lunch for myself and my older brother.lol
IMO this board doesn't have activity to warrant specific off topic forums at this point. But to paraphrase "the dude" from Big Lewboski, thats just my opinion man.
