"I believe the average person is honest ... well mostly honest. But there are some things that even the most saintly individuals may lie about ... what are they?
Here's an example: Travel time.
It seems that nearly everyone is willing to shave a few minutes off of their actual travel time. The next time someone asks you, ""How long did it take?"" try giving a completely truthful and accurate answer ... and see what happens. Chances are, the person who asked the question will be compelled to offer a lie with something like, ""Really? It usually takes me only <insert lie> minutes!"""

What about, How does this look? Do I look okay in it?
I don't know a single person that will say what pops in his head if it looks bad.

I don't know a single person that will say what pops in his head if it looks bad. You didn't specify if the "marriage" or "significant Other" handicap was in effect when the question was asked... Also, some of the rednecks I tend to hand around don't react well to being asked " how does my butt look in these heah Jeans" ? ...Of course, ya never really know... As far as asking a fellow mate about how long it took to traverse somethin', that's in the He-Man guide, and the listener is always going to say, well, I do ... even faster/less.... The only exemption from this is how long men perform when bumping the uglies... Then, the timespan is reversed, with replies like "I always go almost four hours" when we know damn well that included the time it took to run to the pharmacy for Cialis, a meal to pre-stage the pill, 6 drinks to get the missus/SO properly aligned with the idea, another hour to get the kids outa the house, distillin' down to 4.8 seconds of actual "engagement" But.. it did take four hours from the idea to execution... |

How about the question we have all lied abut. "How many drinks did you have." It is always a few more or a few less. Depending on who is asking the question of course!

Speaking about fishing, It's always "you should have been here yesterday, they were jumping in the boat"

I was thinking more like,(you should'a seen the one that got away), or yesterday I thru back a 12 lb Bass! I even like to watch those bass fishing shows where the guy will catch a fish, hold it as far as he can reach for the camera and declair that two lb fish to weigh 3.5 lbs. I also wonder about the fisherman that are always kissing their fish, if their love life is that bad maybe they're spending too much time rocking the wrong boat:)
