"I have been brewing beer now for about two years and simple wines since I was in high school. I work at the local homebrew shop which helps be fuel the hobby.

I recently purchased a PSII with a gin basket, waiting for her to come in the mail.

Hoping to run some simple shine for the first couple of tries and then get into developing a gin recipe.

Cheers,

Gabriel"

Thank y'all kindly. It seems that's the case. Tons of information. I think between this forum and homedistiller.org I should get along just fine.

Welcome gudgabe, The PSII is great. I'm not a big gin fan but the
PSII will do what ever you wish. Ask away.

Truth of the matter is that I'll probably be doing predominately shine and simple whiskeys. Gin is an intriguing idea and definitely want to try it. So rather than fashioning a basket later down the road figured I'd just buy the thing.

Thank you, I'll probably have a few questions after my first run. I generally like to jump in head first on projects like this and make a few mistakes.
