Hello all, Just found my way here while looking for info. Looks like a good place to start. I'm a noob to this so I'll have a noobie question now and then.

Hey Diesel, I started out with a homebuilt SS keg/pot still with a copper coil in a chiller bucket. I surprised myself with some good rum. Later I graduated to a 17 gallon Brewhaus kettle and a reflux column. I love that thing. I use 14-gallon fermenters to feed it. What am I making now? I'm turning out some very nice vodka, clear as can be. All-in average approx 125 proof. I cut it to 80 with distilled water. Now I'm looking forward to delivery of my Brewhaus 4 inch 4-section flute and kettle. I ordered an after-market 26 gal SS kettle with a four-inch neck. Can't wait to get it plugged in. I'm using a turkey fryer propane burner and I've rigged it with a splash apron to reduce the risk. I also keep a ten-pounder close at hand. Just off hand, has anyone a recipe for a gin basket? I'm looking for a ratio of ingredients-to-gallons.

I had a gin basket added to my PSIIHC. The only thing I've done with it is put the peel of 8 lemons in it. But that was wen running a new wash. It definitely had lemon flavor but I want to start with a clean neutral next time and add some other botanicals. It was just a 7 gal wash.
