Rank: Newbie Reputation: Groups: Registered Joined: 11/3/2008(UTC) Posts: 9		"hi rik trying to convert potato starch to sugars......have read many posts about the enzymes needing 152-158 to convert.....WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO ACCOMPLISH THIS?? i have a clip-on therm that ive tried, but on a gas stove it seems to jump quickly from 150 to 160 and the calibrations are pretty small....please help.."

All you need to do is drill a hole, attach the weldless bulkhead and screw the thermometer in it.
