"I'm looking for a recipe that uses cane sugar and molasses for an OG of ~ 1.080 as I plan on only taking it to 10% in fermentation. My main reason for this is the cost for a 5 gallon pail of good molasses (~$75 if it is in stock) and making 18 gallons of wash/wort (3 6 gallon batches). I am thinking of using an American Chico yeast as it is very clean (yes I brew a lot of beer).
